About PULS Cardiac Test™
Who is this test for?
The early detection of unstable cardiac lesions, combined with the management of risk factors, can help reduce your risk of heart disease and heart attacks. If you are over the age of 40 and have no previous history of heart attacks, you should speak to your healthcare provider to determine if the PULS test is right for you.
What is this test used for?
The PULS (Protein Unstable Lesion Signature) Cardiac Test™ measures the traces of proteins that leak from cardiac lesions in the blood vessel walls. Knowing the presence and levels of these proteins can provide your healthcare provider with valuable information to help determine your risk for a heart attack. A PULS test may also be used in conjunction with a cholesterol test for a more accurate picture of your heart health.
